Family: babies & sibling ties
Lagos Life is not just about you — the developer added real family links between players. Here is what we know.
Family links are real connections
The game now includes babies and sibling ties — official family relationships between real players. Combined with marriage, that means you can build a whole family unit inside Lagos, not just a solo character grinding shifts.
Why family matters in a shared city
- A support network. In an economy full of strangers, family are the players you can actually trust.
- Shared goals. A couple or a family can work toward a bigger home or a nicer neighbourhood together.
- Roleplay & identity. Family ties give your character a story — which is a big part of why the game is so shareable. Even the starting Nepo or Lapo background is a family-flavoured identity.
What we're still verifying
Exactly how you have a baby, how sibling ties are formed, and what family status unlocks are things we are checking in-game. We will update this page with the real mechanics rather than guess at them.
Protect the little ones' accounts too
A reminder for younger-feeling family roleplay: Lagos Life is rated 18+, and the same safety rules apply to everyone. Never share an account or login link, even with in-game “family.” See Chat & Scams.
